Anxiety is the number one reason people seek therapy, but no one chooses to develop an anxiety disorder. Some people are born with a predisposition toward being more cautious and anxious; others become anxious after the loss of a loved one or a traumatic experience. However it develops, it is one of the most uncomfortable emotions we experience as humans. I know from experience that anxious people are some of the bravest and most tenacious people on earth. They do life despite the often overwhelming feelings that urge them to avoid and hide. I have the utmost respect for my clients.

If you are unsure if therapy would be beneficial for you or your child at this time, please call and I would be happy to discuss it with you.
